Laura Natella

Laura Ellen Natella, born on June 29, 1960, in Rocky Mount, NC, left us on February 14, 2026, leaving behind a life beautifully lived. Known to her sisters as "the princess" growing up, Laura’s childhood was a confection of sweetness and a dash of rambunctiousness. As the eldest daughter in the family, she was often the center of attention and joy, a role she thrived in. Her passion for cooking began as a child, standing beside her mother in the kitchen, a hobby that she cherished and nurtured over the years.

Laura graduated from New Bern High School in 1978, setting her off on a path that led her to the front desk of several hotels. Her friendly disposition and warm personality made her a welcoming presence to guests. Laura later transitioned into becoming a devoted homemaker, pouring her love and attention into raising her son, Robbie, who she held dearer than anything else in the world. Laura carried a unique light within her, a light that shone even in the face of personal adversity and challenges.

She leaves behind her son, Robbie, and her sisters, Lynne "Beth" Hudgins and Tiffany Ramsey.

Though there will not be a formal service, the family invites you to share your personal memories and recollections of Laura on this tribute page as a reflection of how her life touched yours in a positive way.
