Christopher Mark Dunn

Born on September 14, 1970, CHRISTOPHER MARK DUNN, a former resident of Henderson, NC resident, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 25, 2025. He had resided in New Bern since June of 2020 when his Uncle Duke asked him to come live here and help out in his powder coating business. After his uncle's passing, Chris continued using his talents to make old things bright and shiny again under his ChrisCoat trademark. There was nothing broken that Chris couldn't fix, much like his Granddaddy Kenneth who shared the same birthday.

Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Hughes Dunn, and leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Kenneth Clark (K.C.) Dunn, Jr.; brothers, Kenneth Clark Dunn, III and Anthony Craig Dunn, and their families; his sister, Norma McKinsey Dunn; along with the many friends he met after moving to New Bern. He was "Big Cousin" to Meredith, Ashley, Amber, Austin and Aubrey here in New Bern and tried to be available to them, whether repairing their cars, adding extra lighting to their rides, teaching the right way to hold a softball bat or pitch the ball. Chris was here for a short time but his impact on the lives around here will live on forever.

According to his wishes, there will not be a service. Instead, remember with gratitude the mark that he left on this world and in your heart.

Bennett Funeral & Cremation Care is honored to serve the family and friends of Christopher Mark Dunn.
