Havelock, North Carolina
Angela "Angie" Hall, born on February 19, 1965 in Beaufort, South Carolina, was a radiant soul whose vibrant personality and compassionate spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Angie's story is one of resilience, with a journey that took her from the halls of New Bern High School to the esteemed ranks of the United States Navy, where she served honorably from 1988 to 1992. After her military service, Angie found her calling in Human Resources, dedicating over two decades to serving the City of Havelock. Her colleagues often remarked how Angie brought a sense of camaraderie and unity to the workplace, with her uncanny ability to make anyone feel valued and heard.
Apart from her professional life, Angie was an avid beach-goer, a lover of Weiner dogs, and enjoyed spending time with friends. Her backyard served as her sanctuary, where she could often be found feeding squirrels, listening to her favorite country tunes, or simply enjoying the tranquility of nature. Her humor was infectious, her compassion was boundless, and her creativity knew no limits. Angie was a social butterfly, the voice of reason, and the nurturing heart that her family and friends could always rely on. She embodied the virtues of Matthew 5:9, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God."
Angie leaves behind a legacy of love and selflessness, survived by her beloved daughter, Selena Yanez; her mother, Reba Williams; her brothers, Hughie Hall (Shirley) and Derreck Hall (Debbie); as well as nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She now joins her father, Junior Braxton Hall; her sister, Debbie Arthur; and her brother, Stuart Hall, who have preceded her in death. As we remember Angie, we are reminded of the words in 2 Timothy 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
A memorial service will be held at Two Rivers Church at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2026. To honor Angie's bright and cheerful personality, please wear bright colors as we celebrate her life.
Please join us in celebrating Angie's life by leaving your memories of her and uploading photos to the memorial page. Your stories and remembrances will help us keep her spirit alive and her memory in our hearts.
