Andrew "Andy" Little Obituary (1956 - 2025)

It is with both profound sadness and deep respect that we commemorate the life of Andrew Brown Little, known to most everyone simply as "Andy". Born on July 28, 1956, in New Bern, NC, his spirited and generous soul graced the world with a vibrant presence until October 23, 2025. A man of the community, a dedicated painter, an avid outdoorsman, and above all else, a loving father and grandfather, Andy was cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Andy's life was a testament to his heart's dedication. He was a man of passion, his love for painting being his foremost endeavor. The proud owner and operator of 1st Priority Painting, he catered to a loyal customer base who admired his meticulous work and attention to detail. Born and raised in New Bern, his roots ran deep in the community he loved and served. His generosity was legendary and knew no bounds. Adorned in his signature camouflage, sporting long hair with a cigarette often in hand, Andy was a figurehead in the community and stood out amongst the crowd. He loved the great outdoors, finding peace and solace in hunting and fishing. And yet, his greatest joy was his family. He was a loving and dedicated partner to his spouse, Linda Little; caring father to his son, Brian Little (Carly), and to his daughter, Jessica Little; as well as a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren, Jackson Little and Evelyn Little. Andy also leaves behind his brothers, Steve Little (Ann) and Hank Little. Preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Henry Reece Little and Dr. Suzanne Brown Little, Andy's spirit continues to live on in the hearts of those who love him. Per Andy's wishes, there will be a private service for family. As we bid farewell to Andy Little, we do so with heavy hearts, but also with a profound sense of gratitude for having known such a spirited and dedicated soul.
